All About Me

Since I was able to hold a pencil, I've been captivated by the art of writing. Rainy days were often spent crafting my own books and dreaming up tales to share with my family. At the tender age of nine, I penned my first novel, 'Charlotte Holmes, Sherlock Holmes's Granddaughter and the Case of the Stolen Locket,' seated at my father's green leather-topped desk, filling the pages of my brand-new notebook until the sun had set. If only writing could be completed so effortlessly these days!

Although I took a break from writing while persuing my education and travelling abroad, I resumed my passion when I settled back into the UK.

Since April 2017, I have been devoting my time to How Lexi Walker Almost SAved the World, a contemporary middle grade science fiction set on Earth. When 12-year-old Lexi captures a mysterious orb, she is bestowed with unusual powers and discovers a hidden alien world beneath the library. Lexi must do everything she can to protect the orb and her newfound abilities before she becomes the most famous human in the galaxy.

Outside of writing, I work full time as a classroom teacher and I am the proud parent of two incredible children. When I'm not creating new worlds, you'll find me at a National Trust site or enjoying quality time with my children and wonderful husband.
